We're sad to see the end of summer, but excited about the earliest fruits of fall. The six pear trees we planted last November along our Cooper Street wall are bearing more fruit than we can snack on at our desks. What else to do but cook up some delicious pear-themed dishes and throw a party? Of course, we'll want to offer the freshly-harvested seasonal pearings alongside some cold drinks.
